2. The mandrel is made of glass fiber reinforced resin rod, which has high tensile strength (>1100Mpa), about 1.5~2 times of ordinary steel and 3~5 times of high strength porcelain. In addition, the mandrel also has good vibration damping, creep resistance and fatigue fracture resistance.

3. The fitting of the fittings and the mandrel is made of non-damaged mechanical crimping, which is the most advanced connection method in the world today. The utility model has the advantages that the connection is safe and reliable, the pressure distribution of the crimping stress is uniform, and the integrity of the glass fiber bundle of the mandrel is not damaged, and the excellent characteristics of the high tensile strength can be fully exerted.

4. The equalizing ring has an improved electric field distribution, reduces corona and radio interference, and protects the shed from being burnt out during a strong arc. The effect of composite insulators at high voltage levels is even more pronounced.

5. The composite insulator has compact structure, small volume and light weight (1/7~1/10 of the same-class porcelain insulator string), and has good elasticity and does not need regular cleaning. Therefore, it not only brings great convenience to transportation and installation, but also greatly reduces maintenance and saves a lot of maintenance costs, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and provides good conditions for accident repair and implementation of compact lines.

6. The composite insulator is produced by the integral injection molding production process. The outer cover of the umbrella cover is beautiful, the interface is small, the core rod and the sheath are firmly bonded without gaps, and the inner insulation performance is good, and the phenomenon of interface breakdown can be avoided.
